End of Line Bundling
Shrink Bundler LDPE Shrink Wrap Bundling Machine
A robust secondary packaging platform for LDPE shrink-wrap collation — delivering stable bundle geometry, repeatable pack quality, and up to 30 bundles per minute in single or double pusher configurations.
Machine Overview
Secondary Packaging Built to Last
The Pacmac Shrink Bundler collates cartons, tubes, or pouches into LDPE shrink-wrapped bundles for retail or transit secondary packaging. Flexible collation patterns, robust mechanical design, and a compact footprint make it the natural end-of-line partner for Pac Volt, Pac Glide, and Pac Nova cartoning lines.
30 Bundles / Min
High-throughput shrink bundling at up to 30 bundles per minute — handles most pharmaceutical and consumer goods line speeds.
Flexible Collation
Configurable 2×3, 3×2, 2×4, or custom collation patterns — adapt the bundle layout to your retail shelf requirements.
Single or Double Pusher
Available in single-pusher for standard output or double-pusher for higher throughput on the same compact machine frame.
LDPE Film Ready
Engineered for LDPE shrink film with precise tunnel temperature control for consistent bundle appearance and structural integrity.
Simple HMI
Operator-friendly touchscreen with tunnel temperature presets, speed control, bundle counter, and fault notifications.
Line Integration Ready
I/O interface for synchronised operation with Pac Volt, Pac Glide, or Pac Nova cartoners immediately upstream.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Pacmac Shrink Bundler.
The Shrink Bundler handles folding cartons, filled tubes, blister packs, bottles, and pouches. Common applications include toothpaste tube bundles, pharmaceutical carton multi-packs, personal care retail bundles, and FMCG shelf-ready packaging. Custom infeed conveyors and collation guides are configured to your specific product dimensions and bundle pattern during the application engineering phase.
Standard collation patterns include 2×3, 3×2, 2×4, and 4×2 configurations. Custom patterns can be engineered for specific retail shelf requirements or transit secondary packaging needs. The collation guide system is adjustable for product width, height, and bundle depth, allowing multiple bundle formats to run on the same machine with a guide changeover.
The single-pusher uses one pusher arm to collate products into the film station — suitable for up to 20 bundles per minute. The double-pusher alternates two arms to maintain 30 bundles per minute without increasing machine length. The double-pusher is recommended for lines downstream of Pac Glide or Pac Nova cartoners where the carton discharge rate would otherwise create upstream backpressure. Both configurations use the same shrink tunnel and film feed system.
The machine is engineered for LDPE shrink film in gauges from 30 to 80 microns and roll diameters up to 400 mm. Film specifications — gauge, slip properties, and shrink ratio — are finalised during the application engineering phase to match your bundle appearance, transit requirements, and regional film supplier standards. Non-LDPE films such as POF (polyolefin) can be assessed on request.
The shrink tunnel uses independently controlled top and bottom heating zones with precise temperature management up to 200 °C. Tunnel temperature profiles are stored per recipe — different bundle sizes and film gauges each have a saved profile. Consistent temperature control ensures uniform film shrink, tight bundle geometry, and repeatable appearance across all shifts without manual adjustment between batches.
The Shrink Bundler handles bundles up to 400 mm wide, 250 mm high, and 500 mm long. This covers the full range of standard pharmaceutical and consumer goods carton bundle sizes. For bundles outside this range, Pacmac's engineering team evaluates the specific application and bundle geometry during the quoting phase.
Yes. The Shrink Bundler is designed to operate directly downstream of Pac Volt, Pac Glide, and Pac Nova cartoners. Standard I/O signals synchronise infeed conveyor speed with cartoner discharge rate, preventing product jam or gap formation between machines. Pacmac designs the complete cartoning-to-bundling line layout and provides coordinated controls as part of the project engineering scope.
The Shrink Bundler is designed for single-SKU bundle collation on each production run. Mixed-SKU bundles — such as two different product flavours in one retail bundle — require custom infeed handling and collation lane switching, which Pacmac can engineer on a project-by-project basis. Contact our applications team with your specific mixed bundle requirements and target bundle pattern.
Bundle format changeovers involve adjusting the collation guides, film width, and loading a saved tunnel temperature profile from the HMI. A typical changeover between two pre-configured bundle formats takes under 20 minutes. Pacmac pre-configures all bundle format settings and temperature profiles to your product portfolio before delivery.
The Shrink Bundler is designed and manufactured by Pacmac. Every machine undergoes factory acceptance testing (FAT) before shipment. After-sales support includes on-site commissioning, operator and maintenance training, spare parts supply, and remote diagnostics. Pacmac designs the complete secondary packaging line layout — from cartoner discharge through bundle discharge — as part of the project scope.
